Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies (AIGS)founded in 2005 offers a wide range of graduate, post graduate and PG Diploma programmes in different academic streams that include Language, Sciences, Technology, Commerce, Management, Commerce, Fashion Design, Marketing, Accounting, E-Commerce, etc.

AIGS is endowed with modern physical, technological and academic infrastructure and provides world class learning ambience to its students. Faculty with vocational experience in various streams impart practical knowledge to students coupled with hands-on learning exercises that include Project Work, Seminars, Workshops, Industrial Visits, etc.

AIGS's commitment towards grooming its students goes beyond prescribed curriculum. It involves participation in NSS and various social activities that sensitises them to the society. It offers Certificate Courses for improving

language skills for non-English speaking students. It holds Seminars and Workshops for building current awareness and enabling active interaction with expert-practitioners in various fields. 'Acharya Samachar', the campus periodical is fully executed by the students of the Communications Dept., who are also engaged in producing Video Documentaries. The Fashion Design students are encouraged to hold Fashion Shows which are a regular event at every major campus competitive event.

These activities have enabled AIGS students come face to face with many eminent personalities from various fields and have enriched their learning experience.

These curricular activities apart, the AIGS students are trained and encouraged to participate in a number of Sporting, Curricular and Cultural activities in the campus and are sponsored to participate in inter-university competitions too where in they have been awarded innumerable prizes and recognitions. The faculty and students of AIGS have also prepared and presented academic papers in many national and international Seminars / Publications.

Prof. Gurunath Rao Vaidya, popularly known as Vaidya Sir, boasts of a wealth of 19 years of teaching experience. Basically, an MSc in Mathematics, Prof. Vaidya has worked at various levels in the Acharya Institutes. His career as a lecturer was also coupled with services at Acharya Polytechnic as the Head of Dept. of Science, His commitment to work and vision towards academics was duly acknowledged when he became the Principal of Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies where he is engaged in realizing his academic vision.
