Acharya Polytechnic is the first institution of the Acharya Institutes, founded in 1990. Today it offers a wide range of Technical Diploma programmes. The recipient of the renowned 'Bharata Shikshaka Ratna' award, Mr. Bhanumurthy’s decades’ of teaching experience is of immense benefit to the technical student fraternity.

A senior faculty in technical education (Mechanical Engineering) with over a decades experience, Mr. Rajendra Prasad is a B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) and is also a M.Tech and is a Member of ISTE and MIE.

He has undergone Technical Teachers Training in TTTI Chennai and is specially trained in pneumatics. He has authored three books on Thermal Engineering and Hydraulics & Pneumatics (Lab Manual).

An experienced institutional builder, he is associated with Acharya Polytechnic since its inception and has played a vital role in its growth and expansion.

The students of the Polytechnic invariably occupy the coveted Toppers’ List in the examinations and have secured Ranks year after year.

Acharya Polytechnic has to its credit innumerable successful projects prepared by its students and faculty which have won many accolades. These have drawn tremendous interest from the industry and has resulted in excellent placement for its students in leading companies.
