The Programme
Electronics engineering is a constantly changing, widening and challenging branch of the engineering profession. Electronic and communication technology perhaps, more than any other technology continually shapes the very fabric of our global society. Our course will not only stimulate interest in the exciting field of E&C but will also help students learn the latest techniques.
Features:
• Electronic & Communication Technology continually shapes the very fabric of our global society.
• Students learn not only about how traditional modules work, rather the principles for today’s and tomorrows technology.
• The Electronic & Communication stream encounters increase in the employment opportunities as the demand & production for communication equipment, computers and military electronics is increasing.
The Technical Diploma programmes follow a wide spectrum of craft skills and project work within the various engineering options. In addition, thorough grounding is established in basic computing skills, engineering mathematics, engineering science and engineering drawing. A large part of the studies will be hands-on training in excellent workshops equipped to the highest standards. Theoretical studies are included to support practical work.
Career Scope
Electronics is the root branch in engineering, which comprises hardware and software, E&C branch can correlate itself with all other branches and this provides a wide range of job opportunities in different areas such as :
• Telecommunication Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Computer Science Engineering
• Information Science Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering and
many more.
The Diploma qualification provides a good grounding for students who wish to continue further studies or employment where the skills, knowledge and understanding of planning, designing, construction & manufacturing are useful. The programme will develop the student’s understanding for a full range of careers within the manufacturing and maintenance industry as members of a flexible, competitive, multi-skilled workforce.
As a matter of fact, today’s technology driven industries are forcibly looking at diploma students to fill up a lot of vacancies in their organisations when higher engineering skills may not be immediately required. |
