Yashodamma has over three decades of professional and teaching experience in the sphere of Nursing and healthcare.
A life member of TNAI and ISHA, she is also the Secretary of TNAI Karnataka Branch and its Chairperson of Nursing Education and Research Committee. As a member of Local Inspection Committee of RGUHS, she brings with her tremendous knowledge on Nursing academics waiting to be tapped by the students.
Her research projects on Laparoscopic sterilisation service and Marital Life of Women Psychiatric patients and the psychiatric nursing perspectives for NIMHANS have earned her a coveted place in the Nursing academic community. She has presented a number of papers in workshops conducted by DGHS, New Delhi and organised a number of them, too.
She has trained over 500 nurses specifically in the areas of Prevention of AIDS under the aegis of Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society.
