Academic Focus
Bachelor in Public Health provides students with an understanding for health management of the masses and executes the health needs of the public. The program enables the students to understand the concept of public health by taking them through epidemiology, demography, environmental health, social and behavioral health, public health nutrition, public health policy, ethics, law, etc.

Career Scope
Health care is one of the fastest growing industries. Public health focuses on promoting and maintaining the health, safety and well-being of the community. It prepares the professionals to apply for various positions in a broad range of health organizations and not-for-profit organizations. They can get recruited in government organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, Red cross, etc.

Duration : Duration shall be for a period of 4 years

Eligibility :
1.Candidates for admission to BPH course should have completed higher secondary level or pre-university college (10 +2) in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as basic courses.
2.Candidates completing a 3 year Diploma in Allied Health Sciences after 10th or SSLC
3.Candidates completing 2 years Diploma in Allied Health Sciences after pre-university college (10+2)
4.Equivalent course established under law considered equivalent thereto by RGUHS.
5.The minimum 40% marks obtained.
6.In case of SC/ST candidates a pass in 10+2 or equivalent.
