Product Design

After completing this course student will be able to understand the fundamentals of Design principles, Design theories and can apply them in their projects and practice effectively. Students will be aware of the Design History and will be capable of understanding the evolutions in Design and its role in the progress of society. Students will be aware of Design processes, Research methodologies for problem solving and Design Solutions. Students will be aware of the materials, mock ups and prototypes and execute their ideas in workshops. Students will be capable of doing research projects individually, in groups and in collaboration with Industries. Students will demonstrate considerable quality of Communication and articulation of their ideas and presentations. Students will be aware of Design processes and Research methodologies for problem solving and Design solutions.

Duration : 4 Years

Eligibility : Pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) / 'A' Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. Shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Core subjects.

Course Outcome
