About the Program
Shade of Pride marks the grand finale of Pride Month at Acharya Institutes. This event is a celebration of individuality, diversity, and solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. It provides a platform for voices to be heard, stories to be shared, and inclusion to be celebrated.
Objectives of the Program
- To celebrate the diversity of gender and sexual identities.
- To promote awareness, empathy, and allyship across the campus.
- To offer a safe, open space for dialogue and creative expression.
- To empower students and staff through representation and respect.
- To demonstrate Acharya Institutes’ commitment to inclusivity and equality.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Increased awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues.
- Active student and faculty participation in inclusive initiatives.
- Strengthening of campus culture through representation and dialogue.
- Development of a more supportive and informed academic environment.
