About the Program

Enhances understanding of drug dosage principles, formulas, and IV fluid calculations. Develops practical skills and safety awareness in IV medication administration and fluid therapy.

Objectives of the Program

  • To enhance participants' understanding of principles and formulas used in drug dosage and IV fluid calculations.
  • To develop practical skills in accurate measurement, dilution, and administration of intravenous medications.
  • To promote critical thinking and patient safety awareness in drug dosage and fluid therapy management in clinical settings.

Expected Outcomes

  • Participants will be able to accurately calculate drug dosages based on weight, concentration, and clinical requirements.
  • Participants will demonstrate competence in calculating and preparing IV fluid rates and infusion times.
  • Attendees will gain confidence in minimizing medication errors and ensuring safe drug administration practices in real-time patient care scenarios.
