Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies was established in the year 2005 and offers 11 Undergraduate Programs, 9 Postgraduate programs. The diverse academic programs have attracted more than 5000 students across the world as well as from all parts of India and AIGS is NAAC Re-accredited to A+.

The Department of Hindi at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, established with the institute’s inception in 2005, plays a pivotal role in fostering linguistic, literary, and cultural knowledge among students. Rooted in India’s rich linguistic heritage, the department emphasizes the national and global relevance of Hindi as a medium of expression, communication, and cultural identity. Offering Hindi as a language and elective subject across various undergraduate programs, the department strives to create a dynamic environment where students not only gain linguistic proficiency but also develop an appreciation for classical and contemporary Hindi literature.

Vision of the department: The department encourages an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach by integrating literature, translation studies, mass communication, folklore, gender studies, and comparative literature into its pedagogy.
