About Program
- DATATHON 2026 is a one-day business analytics competition organized by the Department of MBA, Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies.
- The event provides UG and PG students from BBA, B.Com, MCA, and MBA programmes with an opportunity to solve real-world business problems using data analytics.
- Participants compete in teams through four structured rounds involving idea generation, data preparation, analytics, and final presentation.
- Students utilize industry-relevant tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, and R Programming to develop data-driven solutions.
Expected Outcomes
- Enhance analytical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical application.
- Develop proficiency in industry-standard analytics tools and data visualization techniques.
- Strengthen teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
- Gain hands-on experience in solving real-world business challenges using data analytics.

Round 01 – Idea Submission Submit team details, problem statement, analytical approach, expected visualizations and business impact.
Round 02 – Data Cleaning & Transformation Clean raw data, handle missing values, remove duplicates, standardize and transform data for analysis.
Round 03 – Data Analytics & Solution Development Analyze data, build dashboards, derive insights and provide data-driven business recommendations.
Round 04 – Final Presentation Present findings, demonstrate dashboards/models, justify recommendations and answer judges' questions.
