About the Program

The UG Orientation Programme 2026–27 is designed to warmly welcome new students and help them transition smoothly into college life. The programme includes interactive sessions on academics, student support services, cultural activities, placements, innovation, and departmental orientation. Students will get an opportunity to know their faculty members, understand the curriculum, explore campus facilities, and become familiar with the institute's values and opportunities.

Programs: BCA, BBA, BBA Aviation, BBA Sports, BBA Food Tech, B.Com, BA, B.Sc and BSW. The orientation includes welcome sessions, cultural performances, campus tours and academic guidance.

Objectives of the Program

  • To help incoming students comfortably acclimate to the college environment, campus culture, and institutional values, reducing the anxiety often associated with starting higher education.
  • To introduce students to their specific departments, faculty members, and the curriculum layout so they understand their academic pathways and available learning opportunities.
  • To familiarize students with essential institutional pillars, including student support services, placement cells, innovation hubs, and extracurricular/cultural avenues.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • New students will report feeling confident, welcomed, and socially integrated into college life, possessing a clear understanding of the institute's core values.
  • Students will be able to identify their faculty members, articulate their curriculum requirements, and understand how to navigate their respective departments.
