About the Program

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) aims to strengthen faculty competencies in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA GAPC 4.0 accreditation requirements, and modern teaching-learning practices. It focuses on effective curriculum design, innovative pedagogy, assessment strategies, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to enhance academic excellence.

The program will emphasize the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into the Teaching-Learning Process (TLP), along with the incorporation of Complex Engineering Problems (CEPs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curriculum design, ensuring alignment with industry needs and societal expectations.

Through expert sessions, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions, participants will gain practical knowledge for implementing OBE, meeting NBA GAPC 4.0 standards, and adopting CQI practices, enabling them to build a quality-driven, innovative, and future-ready educational ecosystem

Objectives of the Program

  • To enhance faculty understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and its effective implementation in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • To familiarize faculty with the NBA GAPC 4.0 framework and the documentation and practices required for successful accreditation.
  • To familiarize faculty with AI tools and their effective integration into the Teaching-Learning Process (TLP).
  • To enable faculty to incorporate Complex Engineering Problems (CEPs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curriculum design and delivery.
  • To strengthen Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) practices for improving programme outcomes, student learning, and overall academic excellence.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • Apply the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in curriculum design, teaching-learning processes, and assessment practices.
  • Interpret and implement the requirements of the NBA GAPC 4.0 framework, including accreditation-related documentation and processes.
  • Integrate appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into the Teaching-Learning Process (TLP) to enhance student engagement and learning effectiveness.
  • Incorporate Complex Engineering Problems (CEPs) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curriculum design and course delivery.
  • Implement Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) practices using assessment and attainment data to improve programme outcomes and academic quality.
