About the Program

In commemoration of National Girl Child Day on 24th January 2026, Acharya Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the NGO, will organize an All-GirlsHackathon exclusively for girl students from nearby schools. The event will aim to empower young learners by providing hands-on exposure to coding, logical thinking, and problem-solving in a structured hackathon environment. The participants will be invited to the Acharya campus, where they will spend the entire day engaging in guided coding sessions, mentorship interactions, and team-based challenges designed to foster creativity, confidence, and innovation.

The hackathon will create an inclusive and motivating learning atmosphere, enabling students to explore technology beyond traditional classroom settings. Faculty members, student volunteers, and mentors from TechDiva will support the participants throughout the event, ensuring continuous guidance and encouragement. By hosting the hackathon on campus, Acharya Institute of Technology will provide early exposure to higher education and engineering environments, thereby inspiring government schoolgirl students to aspire toward careers in science, technology, and engineering while reinforcing the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, gender equity, and community engagement.
