About Program
The BIS Standards Awareness program and Writing Competition aims to create awareness among students about the importance of BIS and Indian Standards in ensuring quality, safety, reliability, and standardization. The program provides students with an opportunity to understand basic BIS standards and develop their skills in writing simple standards related to products, services, and engineering practices.
Objectives of the Program
- To create awareness among students about BIS standards and their importance in daily life and industry.
- To develop students ability to understand and write standards related to products, services, and engineering practices.
- To encourage students to apply standardization concepts for improving quality, safety, and reliability.
