Objectives of the Program

• Develop foundational and practical skills in mammalian cell culture and aseptic laboratory practices.
• Train students in cell maintenance, subculturing, counting, viability assessment and cryopreservation concepts. To apply the concept of plant tissue culturing in crop development
• Introduce ethical, safe and responsible principles of laboratory animal handling.
• Expose students to cell-based assays, experimental design, data interpretation and translational biotechnology.
