About Program
Acharya Institute of Technology’s E-Waste Matters – Learn, Act and Sustain promotes e-waste awareness through engaging competitions and experiential learning. Students explore responsible e-waste management, recycling, reuse, segregation, and safe disposal while developing creative communication skills through posters and slogans for environmental sustainability.
Objectives of the Program
- To provide students with industry expert interaction and practical exposure to e-waste management practices.
- To familiarize students with BIS/Indian Standards and guidelines related to e-waste management.
- To bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices in sustainable waste management.
- To promote sustainability, circular economy, and responsible e-waste management through co-curricular learning.
