About the Program
Objectives of the Program
- Foundational knowledge in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, enabling students to understand core concepts, architectures, and real-world applications.
- Develop practical skills in working with sensors, actuators, and robot control systems for designing and implementing intelligent robotic solutions.
- Introduce smart robotics and AI techniques, helping students apply basic machine intelligence to enhance robotic behaviour and decision-making.
- Enable hands-on experience with autonomous robots and data integration, preparing students to create systems capable of perception, navigation, and autonomous operation.
- Foster innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities through a Robotics & AI Hackathon, encouraging students to design, prototype, and present real-world solutions.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Explain core concepts of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, including system architectures and practical applications across various domains.
- Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in integrating sensors, actuators, and control systems to build and operate functional robotic prototypes.
- Apply basic AI techniques to develop smart robotic behaviors, enabling decision-making and adaptive responses in real-time environments.
- Design and implement autonomous robotic systems by integrating data from multiple sources for perception, navigation, and independent operation.
- Showcase innovation and collaborative problem-solving skills by successfully participating in a Robotics & AI Hackathon, presenting practical solutions to real-world challenges.
Target Audience: 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering Students.
