About the Program

Kisan Diwas 2025 was observed to honor the contributions of farmers and highlight their vital role in national development. The program focused on creating awareness about sustainable agriculture, modern farming practices, and the importance of supporting the farming community through interactive sessions and discussions.

Objectives of the Program

  • Understand the impact of various environmental factors on plant growth.
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of organic farming methods.
  • Explore the application of plant tissue culture in crop development.
  • Highlight agro waste utilization techniques.
  • Showcase the integration of Artificial Intelligence in farming practices.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • Students acquire hands-on experience on the process of farming techniques
  • Students will learn to raise nitrogen fixing bacteria in the laboratory and how to mass cultivate them for using on large scale farming
  • Students will learn the methodology of converting household green wastes into manure
  • Students will utilize the concepts of AI to yield various kinds of sensors. Overall, the exhibition aims to get the students exposed to organic farming and modern agricultural technologies.
