About the Program

The Inauguration and Orientation Program for the Class of 2025 marks the formal commencement of the academic journey for the incoming batch. The program is designed to welcome new students into the institution, familiarize them with the vision, mission, and values, and provide an overview of the academic, cultural, and professional opportunities available. It serves as a bridge between school and higher education, ensuring students are well-prepared, motivated, and aligned with institutional expectations.

Objectives of the Program

  • To formally welcome and induct students into the institution’s academic community.
  • To provide an overview of the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and academic support systems.
  • To orient students towards institutional policies, code of conduct, and academic integrity.
  • To introduce students to faculty, mentors, and peers for building a collaborative learning environment.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

By the end of the Orientation Program, students will be able to:
  • Understand the institution’s vision, mission, and academic expectations.
  • Gain awareness of resources, facilities, and support services available on campus.
  • Build a sense of belonging and confidence as part of the Class of 2025.
  • Establish initial connections with faculty, peers, and mentors.

About the Department of MCA

Acharya Institute of Technology offers a two-year Master's degree program that is approved by AICTE and affiliated with VTU. Through the Post Graduate Program, students are provided with challenging opportunities to be part of the IT industry on a global scale.

Students delve into various branches of computer application, encompassing information technology, data science, and data structure. They acquire the skills to develop intricate software solutions and applications. Additionally, our partnership with the AWS enriches their understanding of Cloud Architect challenges, providing an opportunity for certification by the company.

An outstanding learning resource centre and well-equipped labs provide an exemplary learning environment. Moreover, the department has a VTU-recognized research center along with an excellent faculty team to help students to develop a research culture that will enhance the scope of innovation in the industry.
