About the Program

This hands-on workshop intends to benefit all first-year engineering students to learn various synthesis techniques of nanomaterials and their characterization techniques. To develop an understanding of the basis of the choice of material for device applications such as supercapacitors, solar cells, memory devices (RAM, ROM) etc.

Objectives of the Program

  • To provide practical training in nanomaterial synthesis methods.
  • To offer hands-on experience in nanomaterial characterization techniques.
  • To build understanding of material selection for device applications like supercapacitors, solar cells, and memory devices.
  • To explore real-world applications of nanotechnology in daily life and integrated systems.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • Participants will acquire practical skills in nanomaterial synthesis.
  • Attendees will learn to apply key characterization techniques.
  • Participants will understand material selection for specific device applications.
  • Learners will gain insights into real-world applications of nanotechnology.

Target Audience: First year B.E students
