Objectives of the Program	To bring awareness about Tsunamis, their causes and their potential impact on communities To encourage for continued research into tsunami prediction, risk assessment, and response techniques to safety and preparedness Share information about warning systems, response plans and importance of listening to local authorities during a tsunami threat
Expected Outcome of the Program	Students and staff will know the causes for tsunami and its impact on communities, response to warning systems and local authorities Build research thinking in the areas of tsunami prediction, risk assessment and response techniques to safety and preparedness
