About the Program

“The Binary Myth” aims to challenge the traditional notion that gender exists only as a binary (male/female) and to promote awareness, inclusion, and respect for diverse gender identities. Through debate and creative expression, participants will critically examine stereotypes, social conditioning, and the importance of gender equity in contemporary society.

Objectives of the Program

  • To provide a platform for students to discuss and evaluate diverse viewpoints on gender-related topics in a structured manner.
  • To encourage critical thinking and evidence-based argumentation while presenting perspectives clearly.
  • To strengthen public speaking, logical reasoning, and rebuttal skills in an academic setting.
  • To promote respectful dialogue and gender-sensitive communication across all participants.
  • To develop the ability to engage in disagreements professionally without personal or offensive remarks.
