About Program

The programme at Acharya Institute of Technology focuses on POSH awareness, sexual harassment prevention, complaint handling, inquiry procedures, and redressal mechanisms. It strengthens CICC competencies while promoting gender sensitivity, confidentiality, mutual respect, and a safe, inclusive campus environment through effective institutional policies.

Objectives of the Program

  • To enhance the knowledge and competencies of CICC members in handling complaints related to sexual harassment in a fair, confidential, and sensitive manner.
  • To create awareness among HODs, faculty and staff regarding the provisions of the POSH Act and institutional policies on prevention of sexual harassment.
  • To familiarize stakeholders with complaint reporting mechanisms, inquiry procedures, and redressal processes.
  • To promote gender sensitivity, mutual respect, and a safe and inclusive campus environment.
  • To strengthen institutional mechanisms for prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment cases.
