About the Program

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national-level exam conducted jointly by the IISc Bangalore and the IITs (on rotation) in India. It is used to test the understanding of engineering, science, and mathematics concepts at the undergraduate level. It serves as an entrance exam for Master's degree programs in Science and Engineering field and also as a qualification for recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

Engineering Mathematics is a core subject in the GATE syllabus for majority of engineering streams. It usually carries 12–15 marks out of 100. It is a test for a student’s ability to solve a mathematical problem.

The primary objective of this program is likely to understand the opportunities and structure of GATE exam and mathematical concepts which are essential for GATE exam.

Objectives of the Program

  • To explore the various opportunities in higher education and job opportunities through GATE exam.
  • To encourage the students to register for GATE exam.
  • To study the Mathematical concepts relevant for GATE exam.

Upon completion of Program the participants will be able to
