About the Program
The SPOT (Skill-based Practical Oriented Training) Hands-On Training Workshop in Physiotherapy is a focused and interactive program designed to enhance clinical skills and practical knowledge in the field of physical rehabilitation. This workshop provides participants students, interns, and early-career physiotherapists with an opportunity to engage in real-time demonstrations, patient simulations, and supervised practice sessions.
Objectives of the Program
- To provide hands-on training on ROPODS – Smart Physiotherapy Outcome Tracker (SPOT) equipment, enabling students to familiarize themselves with its functions and applications.
- To enhance clinical competence by engaging students in simulation-based learning and outcome-oriented practice sessions.
- To bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and practical application in real-world rehabilitation scenarios.
- To empower students with essential skills in equipment handling, patient monitoring, and smart outcome tracking, preparing them for both clinical and community-based practice.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Demonstrate basic operational knowledge of ROPODS – SPOT, directly applying the skills gained during hands-on training sessions.
- Integrate simulation and outcome tracking into practice, reflecting improved clinical competence and decision-making ability.
- Translate classroom concepts into real practice, showing greater confidence in applying physiotherapy techniques with the aid of advanced equipment.
- Utilize equipment handling and monitoring skills effectively in diverse settings (clinical, community, and research), showcasing readiness for professional practice.
