About the Program
The Wheelchair Service Training of Trainers (WSTP ToT) – Basic Level is a specialized training program designed to develop competent trainers in wheelchair service provision based on the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. The program enhances participants' knowledge and practical skills in wheelchair assessment, prescription, fitting, user training, maintenance, and follow-up services. It also strengthens facilitation, communication, and adult-learning techniques, enabling participants to effectively deliver high-quality wheelchair service training programs and promote independent mobility and inclusion for wheelchair users.
Objectives of the Program
- Train participants to effectively deliver WST Basic Level training.
- Enhance facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Develop a strong understanding of WSTP modules and training guidelines.
- Apply adult learning principles and participatory teaching methods.
- Improve learner engagement and group management skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Enable independent conduct of wheelchair service training programs.
