One day Workshop on 3D printing by using Masked SLA
About the Program
The One-Day Workshop on 3D Printing Using Masked SLA (MSLA) aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals and applications of MSLA technology in additive manufacturing. This workshop offers hands-on experience with the MSLA 3D printing process, focusing on resin-based printing techniques, model preparation, slicing, curing, and post-processing. Participants will gain practical insights into how MSLA provides high-resolution prints suitable for engineering, prototyping, and design applications. The program is ideal for students, researchers, and enthusiasts looking to explore precision 3D printing technologies.
Objectives of the Program
- To Introduce the fundamentals of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies, with an emphasis on Masked Stereolithography.
- To familiarize the participants with slicing software and design considerations for resin-based printing.
- To provide hands-on experience in preparing, printing, and post-processing models using mSLA printers.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Understand the basic concepts of 3D printing technologies.
- Operate an mSLA 3D printer, including bed levelling, resin handling, and exposure settings.
- Use slicing software (Chitubox) to prepare digital models for mSLA printing.
- Apply mSLA printing to practical projects, showcasing an understanding of the end-to-end workflow.
