About the Program
Objectives of the Program
- To introduce the fundamentals of Industrial Automation and Industrial IoT (IIoT).
- To provide knowledge of industrial control systems such as PLC, sensors, and actuators.
- To demonstrate the integration of automation systems with IoT platforms.
- To offer hands-on exposure to real-time industrial automation and IIoT applications.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Participants will understand the core concepts and architecture of industrial automation and IIoT.
- Participants will be able to identify and use basic automation components.
- Participants will gain experience in PLC programming and sensor interfacing.
- Participants will be able to monitor and visualize industrial data using IIoT technologies.

Program Schedule
Day 1 morning session: 12/02/2026
- familiarization of Microcontroller Arduino where we shall explain all the pins, peripherals.
- Light dependent resistor with application of automatic street light operation both theory and practical including coding
- Inductive proximity sensor with application of counting of metal parts both theory and practical including coding
Day 1 Afternoon session: 12/02/2026
- Gas detection: smoke sensor with alarm and LED plu using the same sensor alcohol detection both theory and practical including coding
Day2 morning session: 13/02/2026
- Door sensor with reed relay and magnetic contact to switch on light and give alarm when door is opened. both theory and practical including coding
- Joy stick with two servo motors simulating sugar plant mixing of sugar juice with water both theory and practical including coding
Day 2 Afternoon session: 13/02/2026
- Digital Humidity and temperature sensor DHT11 with switching fan ON when temperature reaches set point. both theory and practical including coding
- Water level indicator with LCD display both theory and practical including coding.
All the sessions will be engaged by PM Prabhu.
