It is going to comprise a diverse group of Individuals, including researchers, practitioners , industry experts, educators,and students; all of whom are interested in advancing knowledge and innovation in various areas of design. The conference will provide a forum for sharing the latest research findings, discussing emerging trends and addressing current challenges within the design community. The conference will focus on design’s role in shaping a sustainable future ,cultural evolution, and innovation- driven impact .

It will provide opportunities for presenting case studies, theoretical papers, and practical solutions to complex design problems.

Theme of the conference“ Design for Change “ transforming the future through multidisciplinary Design.

The Acharya International Design Conference 2025 invites designers, researchers, and educators to converge and explore the transformative power of design in driving positive change. Under the theme “Design for change “ we delve into the intersections of design, technology , culture and society, seeking innovative solutions for a better future. It empowers a better future.

In an era of unrivalled global challenges , design has emerged as a powerful stimulus for change .It embodies the idea that design can be a transformative force ,driving positive impact and creating a better future for individuals, communities and the environment. This theme is Embarking on change and envisioning the future. This is a call to action , urging designers,educators and innovators to harness their collective creativity , expertise, and passion to address the complex problems facing our world . This theme celebrates the potential of design to challenge assumptions, empower communities, drive sustainability and foster innovation. It serves as a platform for designers ,educators and innovators to share knowledge, experiences , and best practices, to collaborate on projects, research, and initiatives ,to inspire and empower each other to drive positive change.

Acharya School of Design , invites you to associate with us for the upcoming Conference, AIDC -2025 , a three days International Design Conference to be held on 28th- 29th- 30th May 2025. AIDC-2025 : 1st International Conference on Design for Change team with pleasure invites you to contribute with an original research paper to this peer reviewed


As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform the design landscape , this sub-theme examines the challenges and opportunities that arise from the integration of AI in design. How can designers harness AI to enhance creativity , improve user experience, and drive innovation?

Design is deeply rooted in cultural context , influencing and reflecting societal values. This sub- theme investigates the complex relationships between design , culture and society , exploring how design can promote cultural understanding, social equity and community development.

As the world grapples with pressing environmental and social challenges where sustainable design has become an imperative , This sub -theme focuses on design strategies that prioritize social responsibility, environmental stewardship , and regenerative practice , driving positive impact and promoting a better future.

The design education landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by technological advancements, shifting societal values and changing industry demands. This sub- theme explores emerging trends, innovation pedagogies, and collaborative approaches that are redefining design education and preparing the next generation of designers.

The relationship between design and material is multifaceted. This sub - theme examines the role of materials in design , exploring sustainable materials , innovative production methods, and the environmental and social implications of material selection.

The natural world has long been a source of inspiration for designers. This sub- theme investigates the intersections between Nature , Land and Design, exploring how designers can work with natural systems, promote environmental stewardship, and create sustainable ,regenerative design solutions.

Paper should be checked through Turnitin with less than 10% of similarity Index.

The Paper should be in the following formats :

Word Format Page limit Camera Ready papers is 10 pages.

  • Full papers should not exceed 3000 words (including all references, tables, and figures).
  • Articles should use the single column CDRI Conference Paper template, including the correct heading and paragraph styles.
  • Use Times New Roman font, the point size will vary by section.
  • Do not alter the margins of the template. Altering them can cause significant delays. Paper size should be A4 (width: 21cm, height: 29.7cm) with margins set at: Top: 2.5cm, Left: 3cm, Bottom: 2.5cm, Right: 3cm.
  • Do not include any headers, footers, or page numbers in your document, or amend this template in any way.
  • Make sure all author affiliation associations are correct. This means author vs. affiliation and author vs. email address. If there is only one affiliation for all authors, association is not needed. Author names should be listed in First name Surname format.
  • Use clear, legible tables, graphics and diagrams.
  • Do not use copyrighted material without permission. Papers using copyrighted material without appropriate permission and acknowledgment will be excluded from publication.
  • Prepare and format references with care according to APA guidelines.
  • Embed all fonts into your article PDF. PDFs supplied without embedded fonts may be returned which can cause unnecessary inconvenience and publication delays for other authors. Failure to provide a replacement paper in a timely fashion may result in an article being removed.
  • Check your article PDF. It is not uncommon for errors to appear in PDFs generated from Microsoft Word.
  • Avoid large Word/PDF files (10 MB maximum, ideally).
