About Program
A Book Fair is an important academic activity organized by the library to promote reading habits, encourage knowledge sharing, and provide students and faculty with access to a wide range of books and learning resources. It brings together books from different subjects, publishers, and authors in one place, allowing library users to explore new titles and select resources according to their academic and personal interests.
The book fair also provides an opportunity for students and faculty to become familiar with the latest publications, reference materials, textbooks, competitive examination books, and other educational resources. Such initiatives strengthen the role of the library as a centre for learning, research, intellectual development, and lifelong reading.
The Book Fair organized by the Library Department of Smt. Nagarathnamma College and School of Nursing aims to encourage students and faculty to develop a regular reading culture and make effective use of library resources.
Objectives of the Program
