Objectives of the Program

• To provide peer support to students through senior–junior mentoring relationships.
• To facilitate smooth transition of new students into the academic and institutional environment.
• To promote academic guidance through sharing of study strategies, learning resources, and examination experiences.
• To strengthen interpersonal relationships and create a supportive campus community.
• To enhance confidence and communication skills among junior students.
• To encourage emotional and social support through approachable senior student mentors.
• To promote professional values such as discipline, responsibility, empathy, teamwork, and respect.
• To help students understand institutional practices, including academic procedures, clinical postings, hostel life, and student support systems.
• To identify student concerns at an early stage and facilitate appropriate referral to faculty mentors or institutional committees when required.
• To develop leadership and mentoring skills among senior students.
