About the Program

The Seminar on World Arthritis Day – 12th Oct 2025 aims to raise awareness about arthritis, its prevention, early diagnosis, and management. The program features expert talks, interactive discussions, and educational sessions highlighting the importance of maintaining joint health through proper exercise, nutrition, and medical care. It seeks to empower participants with knowledge to improve quality of life and promote overall musculoskeletal well-being.

Meeting Objectives

  • To increase public and professional understanding about arthritis, its causes, symptoms, and impact on quality of life.
  • To educate participants on the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment to prevent disability.
  • To provide knowledge and resources that help people with arthritis manage their condition effectively through lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and support systems.
  • To highlight the role of exercise, balanced diet, physiotherapy, and stress management in reducing arthritis symptoms.
  • To bring together healthcare professionals, NGOs, patients, and caregivers for networking and sharing best practices.

Learning Outcomes

  • Explain the types, causes, symptoms, and complications of arthritis.
  • Identify the benefits of early detection and timely management in preventing disability
  • Demonstrate knowledge of lifestyle modifications, exercise, nutrition, and stress management techniques that reduce arthritis symptoms.
  • Appreciate the importance of following prescribed medications, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation measures.
  • Encourage individuals with arthritis to actively participate in their care and decision-making.
