About the Program

In today’s academic and professional environment, research publications and funded projects have become a benchmark of academic excellence, innovation, and credibility. Students often face challenges such as:

• Lack of awareness of how to identify authentic and indexed journals
• Difficulty in writing manuscripts that meet international publication standards.
• Limited exposure to grant-writing processes and research funding opportunities.
• Fear of rejection in the publication process.

This Student Technical Program (STP) is designed to bridge the gap between student research potential and academic success by providing practical exposure, technical guidance, and insights from experts. The program emphasizes integrity, innovation, and impact in the process of publishing and obtaining research funding.

Objectives of the Program

• To empower students with knowledge and skills for effective scientific writing.
• To create awareness about the publication process, including peer review, indexing, and plagiarism ethics.
• To guide students in identifying predatory vs. credible journals.
• To introduce funding agencies at state, national, and international levels (ICMR, RGUHS, DST, DBT, UGC, WHO, etc.).
• To develop students’ competencies in proposal writing and project management.
• To foster a culture of innovation, inquiry, and evidence-based practice within the student community.
