About the Program

The Workshop on Reference Management System – Mendeley Software is organized to strengthen the research, academic writing, and publication skills of nursing faculty and nursing students. In nursing education and practice, evidence-based research and scholarly writing play a crucial role in improving patient care, education standards, and professional growth. This workshop introduces participants to Mendeley, a powerful tool that supports systematic organization of literature and accurate referencing.

The program focuses on helping nursing professionals and students efficiently manage research articles, theses, dissertations, care studies, and journal manuscripts. It provides practical exposure to collecting, organizing, annotating, and citing nursing and health science literature while following standard citation styles commonly used in nursing research. The workshop also highlights ethical research practices, proper acknowledgment of sources, and reduction of plagiarism in academic work.
