Objectives of the Program

  • To describe the basic anatomy and physiology of the kidneys.
  • To explain the common causes and risk factors of kidney diseases.
  • To identify early signs and symptoms of kidney disorders.
  • To discuss preventive measures and healthy lifestyle practices for maintaining kidney health.
  • To create awareness on theme of World Kidney day 2026

Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be able to explain the structure and functions of the kidneys clearly.
  • Students will be able to recognize risk factors and early warning signs of kidney disease.
  • Students will be able to educate patients and community members about kidney health and prevention strategies.
  • Students will demonstrate understanding of lifestyle modifications required to prevent kidney-related disorders.
  • Students understand the theme of World Kidney day.
