About the Program

The World Polio Day 2025 program is dedicated to spreading awareness about the global fight against polio and the importance of vaccination in eradicating the disease. The event highlights the achievements of healthcare initiatives, the role of community participation, and the continued efforts needed to maintain a polio-free world. Through talks, presentations, and awareness activities, the program aims to inspire collective responsibility toward public health and disease prevention.

Meeting Objectives

  • To raise awareness about the global fight against polio and its eradication efforts.
  • To educate the community on the importance of Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) and routine immunization.
  • To mobilize healthcare workers, students, and volunteers for maximum coverage in immunization drives.
  • To highlight the achievements of the Pulse Polio Programme in India and globally.
  • To strengthen commitment among policymakers, health professionals, and the public towards a polio-free world.
  • To encourage community participation in ensuring that no child is left unvaccinated.
