Acharya's Biggest Techno Cultural Fest in India - Habba

Acharya Habba, our annual techno-cultural fest, is a three-day extravaganza that offers a vibrant platform for talent showcases, music, and cultural collaborations, enhancing students' college life. The festival, launched in 2005, has become one of Bangalore's biggest college events, hosting over 50,000 guests in 2025.

Acharya Habba Main Events

Events such as multicultural Ethnic Day celebrations, Canvas Painting, Face Painting, Clay Modeling, Western and Classical Singing and Dance showcases, Faculty Talent Events, Cooking Events, Habbathon, Treasure Hunt, Coding Competitions, Cosplaying, Open Mic Events for Poetry Recitals, and Comic Stand-Up Acts are some of the highlights of Acharya Habba.

Various Sports Leagues in Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and Acharya Premier League (Cricket) keep attendees on the edge of their seats.

Renowned musicians like Gurukiran and Benny Dayal have previously graced the stage at the festival. Numerous talented artists have brought art and music to life at Acharya Habba, showcasing their creativity along with various cultural displays by students.

Acharya Habba 2026, the flagship cultural fest of Acharya unfolded as a spectacular celebration of talent, creativity, and innovation from April 8–11, 2026. The festival was grandly launched at the Acharya campus with a symbolic opening, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated and vibrant college fests in Bengaluru.

This year’s edition gained added prestige as AIT proudly hosted the 25th VTU Youth Festival, bringing together participation from nearly 100 VTU-affiliated and autonomous institutions across Karnataka. With over 4,500 participants and a footfall exceeding 15,000, the campus transformed into a dynamic hub of cultural exchange and competition.

The fest featured a diverse lineup of events including the Grand Auto Show, Soap Box Racing, Simba Bike Rally, Student of the Year Championship, Under25 Summit, Ideathon, Fashion Show – El Senor & La Senorita, gaming tournaments, creative arts competitions, and high-energy cultural performances. The celebrations culminated in a spectacular live concert by renowned artist Neeti Mohan, adding a grand finale to the festivities.

The VTU Youth Festival segment showcased exceptional talent across music, dance, drama, literary, and fine arts. The overall championship was secured by M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, followed by B. N. M. Institute of Technology as the first runner-up, while AIT proudly emerged as the second runner-up.

Acharya Habba 2026 stands as a testament to Acharya’s commitment to fostering holistic student development, blending culture, competition, and creativity at an unparalleled scale.

Acharya Habba 2025, the campus’ annual techno-cultural festival, began with vibrant energy featuring a thrilling auto show, bike stunts, and a captivating fire dance performance. The night concluded with electrifying performances by Shalmali and the Vortex Band, creating an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and campus spirit.
