Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch]

The B Arch program enable the candidate to apply basic spatial organization, structural and constructional principles to the conception and development of interior and exterior spaces of a building, or design neighbourhood and urban spaces. It orepares collaborative skills to identify and assume divergent roles that maximize individual talents and participate in teamwork.
The program trains students to use appropriate representational media of oration, writing, drawing, computer technology and model making with varied materials to ideate, market and execute the design. The vision ultimately is to mold the students to be an architect who cares responsible social and environmental projects.

Course Duration : 5 years
Eligibility :

Candidate should have passed in 10+2/ Higher Secondary / Pre University / ‘A’ Level (12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with Mathematics & English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate and should have passed NATA Test with a minimum of 40%.


Course Outcome

Career in Architecture through formal classroom teaching and practical field exposure. To reinforce intellectual capabilities, stimulate sensitivity, unveil creative talents and develop proficiency in professional skills to enable graduates to competently pursue various specializations within the broad spectrum of Built Environment. To provide opportunities to students to evolve as practitioners, the role they will eventually play as responsible members of society and profession. In this context the architects are required to be equipped with appropriate skills, understanding & knowledge and also deep commitment to professed ideals. Further the programme aims at attaining a high level of excellence in architectural design that forms the core of the programme with supportive inputs from other subjects.

Course Content


Architectural bachelor's degrees are undergraduate degrees. Students in this five-year full-time program learn how to plan, design, and construct physical structures of different kinds through a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. An architectural degree program prepares students for internships and eventual licensure as architects through a Bachelor of Architecture degree program.

For people who want to obtain an architecture degree that will enable them to obtain a license as an architect: either a five-year undergraduate degree in architecture called a B. Arch.

The most common careers pursued by graduates are architecture, design, consulting, and project management. The majority of them work in architectural firms, construction firms, engineering firms, and manufacturing firms.

In order to design luxury homes according to the requirements of clients, bachelors in architecture are one of the most popular degrees. You should consider a B. Arch if you are planning on setting up your career in the Architecture field or want to establish a business in home design and architecture.

To join the B.Arch programme at Acharya, candidate ,ust have passed in 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Maths Subjects, or should have cleared 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics. The applicant must qualify the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA).
