Covid-19 entry requirements into India The Indian Government has introduced additional entry requirements for international passengers travelling to India due to Covid-19. The requirements differ from state to state and may be subject to change with very little notice. You must comply with these requirements otherwise you may be not allowed to board your flight. Under Air Suvidha –Digital Platform for self-Declaration and Exemption With effect from 8th August 2020, self-declaration and applications for exemption from institutional quarantine is to be taken up digitally. This platform is available for all international passengers at www.newdelhiairport.in. All passengers must fill in Travel Information & Passenger Declaration Form with correct information.

Travelers may also seek exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR Covid-19 test negative (-ve) report on arrival in India. The Covid-19 test must be conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey or check-in for the flight. The test report should be uploaded on the Air Suvidha portal for consideration. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise. The test report could also be produced upon arrival at the point of entry airport in India. Your responsibility These information are updated from time to time by Indian authorities. Hence you are requested to check the latest requirements for each state before commencing your journey to India. Each passenger is responsible for checking and conforming with the entry and exit requirements of the state governments at their arrival and upon return from India. If you have made a booking on behalf of someone else, you must provide them with this information. State requirements may include temperature checks, proof of negative RT-PCR Covid-19 tests or completion of relevant forms. Please be aware that if you fail to comply with these requirements you may not be able to travel or be allowed to enter your destination. Sometimes it may take longer to comply with these requirements at the airport so you must give yourself sufficient time to board the flight or take your connecting flight. If you need a Covid-19 test You can arrange suitable tests from any approved provider in the UK. Passengers are free to approach any testing centre in the UK for getting their RT-PCR test.
