About the Program
Objectives of the Program
- To officially launch the IDC Student Chapter through the MOU signing ceremony and create a long-term platform for data, analytics, and AI-focused student initiatives.
- To introduce participants to real-world telecom analytics challenges, demonstrating how organizations use customer data to drive retention and business decisions.
- To provide hands-on exposure to analytical tools and techniques including Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python for solving practical business problems.
- To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by encouraging analytical thinking, data storytelling, and business-oriented problem solving.
- To foster a collaborative community of students interested in data science, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies through learning, networking, and future IDC activities.
Expected Outcomes of the Program
- Participants will gain practical understanding of customer churn analysis and how data is used to solve real business problems in the telecom industry.
- Students will develop foundational exposure to industry-relevant analytical approaches using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python.
- Attendees will improve their ability to interpret business data, identify patterns, and generate data-backed insights and recommendations.
- The event will establish awareness and visibility for the IDC Student Chapter, encouraging greater student participation in future data and AI initiatives.
- A strong student network of aspiring data and AI enthusiasts will be initiated, promoting collaboration, peer learning, and continuous skill development within the campus community.
