About the Program

Objectives of the Program

  • To raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment and human health.
  • To promote the concept of a zero-plastic lifestyle and encourage sustainable alternatives.
  • To educate participants on proper waste segregation and responsible disposal practices.
  • To reduce single-use plastic usage within the campus/community.
  • To collaborate with Research Heights in promoting research-based sustainable solutions.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • Increased awareness and understanding of plastic pollution among participants.
  • Reduction in the use of single-use plastics in the targeted area.
  • Adoption of sustainable practices such as use of cloth bags, metal bottles, and biodegradable materials.
  • Cleaner campus/community environment due to plastic waste collection drives.
  • Development of responsible environmental attitudes and long-term eco-conscious behaviour
