About Program
Eye Donation Fortnight is an awareness campaign that encourages people to pledge their eyes and help restore the gift of sight to those affected by corneal blindness. It promotes the importance of eye donation and inspires everyone to contribute towards a brighter, more compassionate society.
Objectives of the Program
- Explain the importance and significance of eye donation and corneal transplantation in restoring vision.
- Describe the process, eligibility criteria, myths, and facts related to eye donation.
- Demonstrate effective communication and health-education skills to motivate individuals and families regarding eye donation.
- Promote awareness about voluntary eye donation and encourage community participation through appropriate educational activities.
