About the Program

Objectives of the Program

  • To identify common nutritional abnormalities such as undernutrition, overnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and related metabolic disorders.
  • To assess the nutritional status of individuals.
  • To promote balanced and therapeutic diets tailored to age, disease condition, and individual needs.
  • To educate individuals and families on proper nutrition, food choices, and healthy eating practices.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • Improved nutritional status and correction of identified nutritional deficiencies or excesses.
  • Enhanced weight gain or weight normalization appropriate to age and health condition.
  • Improved biochemical and clinical indicators related to nutritional abnormalities.
  • Increased knowledge and positive attitude towards healthy and balanced dietary practices.
