About the Program

Objectives of the Program

  • To create basic awareness among primary school children about cancer in a simple and age-appropriate manner.
  • To educate children on the importance of healthy habits such as good nutrition, cleanliness, and physical activity.
  • To promote awareness on cancer prevention and the value of early detection.
  • To encourage children to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
  • To develop positive attitudes towards health, care, and support for people affected by cancer.

Expected Outcomes of the Program

  • State in simple words what cancer is.
  • Identify at least three healthy habits that help prevent diseases.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the importance of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
  • Recognize the benefits of eating nutritious food and engaging in daily physical activity.
  • Express positive and caring attitudes towards individuals affected by cancer.
