Smt. Nagarathnamma College of Nursing conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme at Kereguddadahalli Community Area. 7th Semester B.Sc. Nursing students educated residents through an engaging street play on traffic rules, road signs, safe driving, pedestrian safety, responsible road use, distracted behaviour and accident prevention.
Road safety education is essential for developing safe habits from an early age. This social drama is designed especially for school children to create awareness about road safety through an interactive and entertaining performance. The drama demonstrates everyday situations such as crossing the road safely, obeying traffic signals, wearing helmets while riding bicycles or two-wheelers, using zebra crossings, and avoiding distractions near roads. Through storytelling, role play, and practical demonstrations, the program encourages children to become responsible road users and safety ambassadors in their families and communities.
