The Conference

The theme of Acharya International Design Conference 2026 (AIDC 2026), “Design Unbound”, focuses on exploring design as a dynamic, multidisciplinary discipline that integrates creativity, research, and practical application.

The conference aims to examine how design transcends traditional boundaries to address complex contemporary challenges through innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking.

The Conference will be the culmination of various departments including Animation & Game Art, Fashion & Apparel Design, Graphic Design & Communication, Interior & Spatial Design, Product Design, and Architecture.

Paper should be checked through Turnitin with less than 10% of similarity Index. Below mentioned Review process is the button. When the user clicks on the button , it will expand with the below content. The content starts from submission Guidelines.

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted papers must be checked using Turnitin. The similarity index should be less than 10%. Papers exceeding this limit will not be considered for review.

Submission & Review Process

  • Step 1: The corresponding author will receive an acknowledgment email containing the Paper ID on March 1, 2026.
  • Step 2: To ensure manuscript quality, the supporting team will verify:
    • Plagiarism (as per policy)
    • Quality and novelty
    • Alignment with the conference theme
  • Step 3: Manuscripts meeting the criteria will be sent for review. Others will be notified as Revise and Resubmit or Rejected.
  • Step 4: Each manuscript will be evaluated by three reviewers under a double-blind review process.
  • Step 5: Based on review comments, the decision will be communicated as: Accept / Accept with Revision / Reject.
  • Step 6: If at least two reviewers recommend acceptance, the manuscript will be forwarded to the Conference Chair.
  • Step 7: Final acceptance will be confirmed by the AIDC Editorial Board and communicated via email.
  • Step 8: The main author must be a graduate.
  • Step 9: Co-authors must register as Listeners to attend the conference.

Acceptance Notification & Post-Acceptance Process

  • Important: After acceptance notification, papers cannot be withdrawn from AIDC-2026.
  • Registration Fee: Authors must calculate the registration fee based on their category:
    • Academician: Professors and Faculty
    • Student: Research Scholars and PG Students
    Payment must be completed via the online payment facility available on the home page Registration Button
  • Send a scanned copy of the online payment receipt via email.
  • Mail the following documents in .zip / .rar format to aidc@acharya.ac.in:
    • Camera-ready paper (MS Word and PDF)
    • Filled-in Registration Form
    • Filled-in Copyright Form
    • Proof of studentship (if applicable)
    • Online payment receipt
