Nature Watch Club

Vision: To arouse general awareness among the students regarding the different environmental problems which are of major concern to the better future and survival of mankind.

Mission: To inculcate love and respect among the members for nature and thus work with a global perspective.

Objectives:

• Conservation and preservation of the environment.
• To sensitize, motivate, and educate students about climate change.
• Encourages efforts to protect and conserve surrounding biodiversity.

Outcomes:

• Students will be able to find an approach to nature-related problems.
• Students will have the knowledge of sustainable development goals and the solutions to it.
• Students will be able to connect with various environment related NGO’s and receive knowledge about various issues.

Activities:

The club conducts regular activities like bird-watching in and around Bangalore, debates and discussion about the environmental issues, street play and various eco-cultural activities, and Trekking organized at the end of the semester.
